A major project was undertaken in late summer and autumn 2008 to repair and rebuild the early 19th century grade 2 listed Pebble Summerhouse. In December 2010 the restoration was finally completed with the construction of the plastered ceiling inset with a pattern of stones. As many old records as possible were used to ensure that the work replicated the original. Early 19th century pebble summerhouses are extremly rare and this one with its panoramic views of Weston-super-Mare, Clevedon and Crook Peak is quite stunning.

This photo shows the new ceiling to the Pebble Summerhouse. The different coloured stones are embedded into a lime plaster to form a decorative circular pattern.
